- For bonding all types and sizes of ceramic tiles (double- and single-fired, porcelain, clinker, terracotta, etc.).
- Bonding stone tiles on interior and exterior surfaces (moderately unstable and prone to staining).
- Bonding large-format porcelain tiles, including thin tiles, on floors and walls, including exterior facades.
- Bonding all types of mosaic on indoor and outdoor surfaces, including in swimming pools.
- Thanks to its high recoil capacity, it is particularly suitable for applying AVATHERM Ceramica to facades and external thermal insulation systems.

AVAGEL AERO ULTRA S2 is a gray or white powder made from cement, selected sand and a large amount of synthetic resin, mixed with light, natural aggregates that lighten the mixture, according to a special formula developed in Avalon's research and development laboratories. AVAGEL AERO ULTRA S2 is a product with very low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which guarantees the health and safety of installers and end users.

CONSUMPTION RATE

• 0.8 kg/m² per mm thickness, equal to 1.5-2.5 kg/m².

PACKAGING

• AVAGEL AERO is available in paper bags of 15 kg, 48 bags on pallet.

AVAGEL AERO ULTRA S2 OFFERS THE FOLLOWING BENEFITS

- The Low Dust technology characteristic of this adhesive significantly reduces the amount of dust released when mixing the product compared to standard Avalon cementitious adhesives, making installers' work easier and safer. - The special AERO technology used for the production of AVAGEL AERO ULTRA S2 ensures a low density, a property that offers two important advantages:

1. AVAGEL AERO ULTRA S2 bags have the same volume but weigh less (15 kg) than bags of conventional cement-based adhesive (25 kg). This means less effort for workers as the bags are easier to handle on construction sites and in warehouses. In addition, the light weight leads to clear advantages in terms of lower transport costs: a pallet of AVAGEL AERO ULTRA S2 weighs 750 kg, while a pallet of conventional glue weighs 1200 kg;

2. Higher efficiency: each 15 kg bag of AVAGEL AERO ULTRA S2 has approximately the same efficiency (in terms of square meters of tiles applied with the same type of trowel, installation technique and substrate) as 25 kg bags of conventional Avalon cement adhesives.
- AVAGEL AERO ULTRA S2 has a low viscosity, which makes application faster and easier.
- Due to its excellent back-buttering properties, AVAGEL AERO ULTRA S2 is particularly suitable for laying thin porcelain tiles. Applying AVAGEL AERO ULTRA S2 with the back-buttering method on flat surfaces ensures that absolutely no voids are created in the adhesive on the back of the tiles, thus avoiding the risk of breakage during use.
